INDEPENDENCE NOW – END THE COST OF UNION 

The British State is in crisis, and it is terminal. This should be clear from the debate which is taking place between the rival candidates for the leadership of the Tory Party in the wake of the resignation of Boris Johnson.

Each candidate is attacking the record of recent Tory Govts, yet all they are putting forward is more of the same- tax cuts for the rich, while everyone else continues to suffer the impact of roaring inflation, the huge hike in energy prices and callous wage and benefit cuts.

Although the Scottish Govt is not to blame for the social inequality in Scotland, there is more that could be done, such as using existing tax raising powers to bring in a more progressive taxation system, so as to redistribute this wealth to help alleviate the Cost of Union.

INDEPENDENCE IS OUR RIGHT TO DECIDE 

We will soon see another PM- a politician, party and system we did not vote for. Now is the time to forge our independence and free Scotland from the stifling constraints imposed by Westminster. Scotland will flourish with independence.

DISSOLVE THE UNION – PEOPLE OVER PROFIT 

As Britain Burns and we pay the Cost of Union, the rich are getting richer, entrenching their wealth. This is a clear and present reason to take to the streets of Inverness on Aug 20. Scottish independence is an emergency situation.

MAKE SURE TO ATTEND THE NATIONAL DEMONSTRATION 

All Under One Banner calls for maximum attendance at this march. We must take to the streets in big numbers, and consider all forms of peaceful action to force change. On Aug 20 we will make manifest a powerful demonstration.
