Yes East Kilbride University Banner

Despite all of our efforts, the reality is that some people will never be convinced of the overwhelming merits of Scotland's Independence, and that is democracy. However, for everyone else, it is of vital importance to understand, not just what is meant by Independence, but to obtain an understanding of the facts around all, and any arguments and allow our fellow Scots to make their own journey to Yes.

For some, the journey may be in regard to obtaining the answers on the subjects that are directly important to them such as the impact on pensions, or currency etc. but for others that journey requires a comfort with an eclectic range of issues that may impact every aspect of daily life in a new Scotland. We of course don't expect everyone to be a subject matter expert, however it is essential that you are as best equipped as possible with the respective facts, not just for yourself, but to allow you to have the fact based conversations with those not yet convinced of the arguments.

Here at the Yes East Kilbride University we provide you with a list of key resources from a wide range of experts from across the Yes Movement.

If you have a specific question, please feel free to drop us an email on:  eksaysyes@gmail.com.

Business for Scotland Ltd is a business network, business and economic policy lobbying and economic consulting company that runs multiple social policy and political campaigns. Believe in Scotland is the name of one of Business for Scotland’s campaigns. Business for Scotland was founded in the 1990s to campaign for Scottish devolution and is credited with being a major player in the devolution referendum. In 2011, the company was relaunched in its current form by Gordon MacIntyre-Kemp, who changed Business for Scotland from a Devo-Max supporting organisation to one that supports Scottish independence. In the 2014 independence referendum, Business for Scotland was the largest spending, most high profile and most active special interest group on either side of the debate. In 2015, the Business for Scotland board decided to keep campaigning for Scottish independence until we win. In 2019, at the request of multiple Yes Groups, we set up Believe in Scotland to support local Yes campaigners and fill the void left by the  demise of Yes Scotland.

SalvoSalvo.Scot Logo

Salvo was formed to restore Scotland’s constitution. Salvo is not a political party. We are the campaigning arm of Liberation Scotland.

We are dedicated to restoring Scotland’s national, constitutional and historic rights as set out in our interim constitution.

Our mission is to bring the Scottish people together again and awaken them to the fact that Scotland’s constitutional future is not dependant on any political deal with a Westminster government. Instead, we will make them aware of the Claim of Right, which was not destroyed by the Treaty of Union but was a critical part of the UK’s creation and remains the lawful guarantee of Scotland’s deliberately hidden constitution.

In doing so, we will not promote or denigrate our national political parties. We will achieve our purpose by restoring our constitution, not by taking sides in party politics. Neither will we harbour or make racist or discriminatory comments but will abide by the terms of our interim constitution and our Sovereign Scot policy.

When people become aware of their rights and how they can restore them by the simple expedient of signing the Edinburgh Proclamation, we will create an unstoppable Scottish Liberation Movement for the restoration of our constitution. And once restored it will be for the people of Scotland alone – not any outside body – to choose the government that best suits our needs.

We are Salvo. We will restore Scotland’s constitution, we will build a Scottish political and judicial system that meets the needs of the people and we will secure our right of self-determination.

The team at Salvo have been working for many years pulling together a fantastic range of reference documents for your use...

The Scotland Channel

The Scotland Channel is owned by S24 TV Limited based in Glasgow's West George Street.

The original aim was to set up a linear TV channel in addition to The Scotland Channel called Scotland 24 TV. This would have been more focussed on news and current affairs.

But because of the way people are watching television these days, scheduled programming is rapidly becoming a thing of the past.

Most people prefer to pick and choose what content they want to watch, when they want to watch it, through on demand streaming services such as BBC i-Player, Amazon Prime, Netflix and YouTube.

Many of these streaming channels require a subscription to view.

However, The Scotland Channel will remain free-to-view because telling Scotland's story as it deserves to be told is important to us.

Broadcasting Scotland

Broadcasting Scotland is a new broadcaster for Scotland, producing programmes from a Scottish perspective, targeting audiences, inside Scotland and beyond.

We have now moved to our new studio in the centre of Glasgow, from where we will be able to produce a range of news and current affairs, music, comedy and chat programmes.

Our mission is to entertain, educate and inform. We believe it is important that Scotland should have an alternative broadcaster, trusted by viewers and which will provide quality original programming across all genres. We will produce new original Scottish programmes, working with young programme makers, helping them develop their careers in Scotland. We will partner with colleges and universities to provide opportunities for work experience and career development.

Broadcasting Scotland plans to provide a full range of programming, including news, current affairs and documentaries, entertainment and variety, drama, music and comedy, suitable for all ages, which is aimed at audiences both inside Scotland, as well as a global audience interested in Scotland and Scottish culture.

We can be the independent TV channel you want, but only with your support, so please consider becoming a Broadcasting Scotland Supporter.
